The investiture service took place at Salem SDA Church in East Orange, NJ, and the sanctuary was filled with church members, family, and friends, some of whom traveled from as far as Maryland to participate in the event.
Among the distinguished guests in attendance was the AEC Executive Associate Director, Brother Dillion Waterman. He was deeply impressed by the service and congratulated all the new Master Guides for their perseverance and commitment. His words of encouragement highlighted the significance of their achievements and the potential they have to serve as leaders in their communities and churches.
This year’s ceremony introduced a new concept—a class with multiple valedictorians. Four candidates stood out for their exceptional dedication and academic excellence, earning this prestigious recognition: Dr. Bendy Estime, Geneve Estime, Lynette Owino, and Cassandre Jean. Their hard work and commitment to excellence were truly inspiring, and they were all well-deserving of this acknowledgment.
The NNJ Master Guide Club investiture service was a momentous occasion that celebrated not just the candidates’ achievements, but also the community that supported them throughout their journey. As these new Master Guides step into leadership roles, they are ready to share their skills and faith with others, making a lasting impact in their communities.
In exciting news, two new Master Guide classes have recently started in Northern New Jersey for anyone interested in joining this transformative journey. These classes are being held at Berean SDA Church and Community SDA Church. We encourage anyone with a passion for leadership and service to consider joining and becoming part of the NNJ Master Guide Club. Together, we can continue to grow in faith and service.
The NNJ Master Guide Club, guided by Nadege Duvernay and Shelise Cadet, continues to cultivate excellence and leadership, providing a foundation for the next generation of Master Guides. We look forward to seeing how these dedicated individuals will continue to grow and serve with passion and purpose.
Congratulations to all the new Master Guides! Your journey has just begun, and we are excited to see the difference you will make in the years to come.
