BJA’s Christmas Program

On Tuesday, December 17, the Baltimore Junior Academy community came together for an unforgettable evening of joy, reflection, and celebration during the annual Christmas program, themed “Christmas Blessings: Jesus, the Reason for the Season.” Held at the C.D. Jenkins Gymnasium, the event began promptly at 6:30 PM and was filled with music, inspiration, and heartfelt performances.

The evening opened with the students’ stirring rendition of “How Excellent,” setting a tone of praise and reverence. This was followed by a series of impressive instrumental performances, including violin, flute, xylophones, choral arrangements, and bells, showcasing the exceptional talents of our scholars.

The Allegheny East Conference’s Superintendent of Education Dr. John Alberty brought warm wishes and encouraged support of Christian education. The program also featured a special message delivered by Dr. Trevor Kinlock, President of the Allegheny East Conference. His remarks on the theme “Christmas Blessings” reminded attendees of the true reason for the season—Jesus Christ—and encouraged everyone to share His love and hope during this special time of year.

The highlight of the evening was the main event, the play “Christmas Blessings,” starring BJA scholars from pre-kindergarten to eighth grade. Their captivating performance brought the Christmas story to life, illustrating themes of faith, kindness, and the blessings of community.

The Alumni Association were thrilled with the performances from our young scholars, and they shared an exciting piece of information: “2025 marks 110 years of Baltimore Junior Academy’s existence as a Christian Educational Institution.”

Baltimore Junior Academy extends heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Deborah Robinson, the dedicated teachers, and the entire BJA community for their hard work in making this event so memorable. Your commitment to excellence lit up the evening and warmed every heart in attendance.

As we reflect on this season of goodwill, we are reminded of the many blessings God has bestowed upon us and the importance of sharing His love with others.

Thank you for celebrating with us, and may the spirit of Christmas fill your hearts with peace, joy, and hope!
