First Millsboro SDA Church Celebrates Baptisms

On August 24, 2024, First Millsboro Seventh-day Adventist Church joyfully celebrated two baptisms, welcoming Andriy Borodchak and the rebaptism of Carolyn Dye.

Andriy, originally from Ukraine, had once worked for Pastor David Thorpe, Jr. in years past. He and his wife, Marina Demcemco, attended First Millsboro sporadically, but after Pastor Thorpe became the church’s pastor, he recognized the couple. Andriy began taking Bible studies, leading to his baptism, while Marina is already a baptized member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Carolyn Dye, a dedicated member of the Community Services Department, was also rebaptized. Known for her commitment to outreach, Carolyn is passionate about serving the community and sharing God's love with others through ministry.

As a church with a mission to be a beacon of light in the community, we praise God for adding two more light bearers to our congregation!
