Living Springs Church Hosts Women’s Day

On Sabbath, March 1st, the Women’s Ministries Department of Living Springs Church in Baltimore, Maryland, hosted their Women’s Sabbath. The theme for the day was “A Mother’s Love,” and all the ladies wore red. Women’s Ministries leader, Eunice Waicuga planned the program with her team. The women led out in all parts of the service, from call to worship to children's story. The women also formed a special choir for the day offering multiple musical selections. LaTasha Hewitt, AEC Communication Director, was the guest speaker, who shared a message entitled “So Will I” centered around Isaiah 66:13. Pastor Boni Getugi shared affirmation for the women and announcements at the end of the program.

The service was followed by a meal and fellowship. The ladies surprised LaTasha, whose birthday was on March 1st, by singing presenting a birthday cake. “The women of Living Springs are indeed special. From the time I walked in the door until I left with birthday cake, they made me feel so welcomed. I was honored to be a part of their special day,” says Hewitt.
