President Kinlock Speaks for MLKConnexus Celebration in Canada

Recently Dr. Kinlock served as the keynote speaker for the MLKConnexus celebration service in Toronto, Canada. The annual city-wide event commemorates the life and legacy of civil rights leader Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Reflecting on King's legacy, Dr. Kinlock reminded the audience of four principles: 1) Wrong is still wrong even if it's accepted by the majority, 2) the struggle for justice begins anew in each generation, 3) we must not be divided but work in unity and solidarity for our collective struggle, and 4) Love is still more powerful than hate. Dr. Kinlock encouraged the audience to remain hopeful despite the difficult socio-political climate within our society. He challenged them to be anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-classist, and anti-oppressive as they live out the demands of justice in the world.
