PFA Community Bids Farewell to Dr. David Martin

On Wednesday, February 19th, PFA held a special assembly to offer Dr. David Martin, PFA headmaster/principal, well wishes as he ends his time at the academy.

Students, faculty, and parents offered special tributes and shared gifts such as signed pictures and a scrapbook with messages and memories from the students. PFA drum corp performed, and in true PFA fashion, there was lots of singing. As a nod to Martin’s signature crazy socks tradition, students and faculty wore theirs and donned them in solidarity for the special farewell.

Dr. Martin served as principal headmaster/principal since the beginning of the 2024/2024 school year and resigned from his post, effective February 21st, citing personal reasons. Addriene Rhodes, who currently serves as vice principal, will assume the role of interim principal, with Dr. John Alberty, superintendent of AEC schools, serving as vice principal for operations.

Let’s continue to keep Dr. Martin and the PFA community in your prayers during this transition.
