New Life (Hampton, VA) Spreads New Year Cheer

As the New Year begins, New Life in Hampton, VA, has demonstrated the true spirit of care and community by reaching out to its sick and shut-in members. In a heartfelt initiative, the church surprised these cherished members with a warm and traditional New Year’s meal, ensuring they felt the love and support of their church family.
Dedicated volunteers (Elder Lawrence & Deacon Gladys Suggs and Elder Charles and Deacon Linda Ridley) prepared and delivered meals featuring classic dishes symbolizing hope, prosperity, and blessings for the year ahead. The surprise deliveries were met with smiles, tears of gratitude, and a sense of connection that transcended physical distance.
“Our church is a family, and family means being there for one another, especially during challenging times,” We live up to our motto "New Life Church where Hope Grows and Love shows"
We wanted to ensure that our sick and shut-in members knew they are not forgotten and that they are a vital part of our congregation.
This act of kindness not only brightened the day for recipients but also inspired the church community to continue finding creative ways to serve and uplift one another throughout the year.
New Life Church’s outreach is a reminder of the power of compassion and the joy that comes from selfless giving—a perfect way to start the New Year.
