First Millsboro Hosts Sabbath School Guest Day

First Millsboro Church had their first 2024 Sabbath School Guest Day recently.

The invited speaker for Worship Service was Elder Reginald Alexander.  His sermon was entitled, "What's Wrong with Complaining? " based on Psalms 13:1-6.  He shared that complaining is acceptable for the right reasons for God's people.  Elder Alexander shared his journey of his heart transplant and how God used him to minister during the midst of his situation.

At 3:30pm, a Community Prayer Service was held with local pastors representing 9 different Christian congregations coming together to pray for love, peace, unity, finances, safety and protection, our families and our children.

The service ended with an anointing service for anyone in attendance. This assembly of pastors was the beginning of a pastoral alliance that will be formed in the Sussex County, Delaware area.  “Pastor David Thorpe, Jr. is working to bring all church leaders together to care for our community and provide a listening ear, open hearts, and a safe haven to come and fellowship.”

Thank you,  Mildred Polk and the Sabbath School Council, for a glorious day of the Spoken Word, the melody of song, and the fellowship one with another.
