Virginia Area Hosts Unity Day

The Virginia Area held their Unity Day on Sabbath, May 20th at the Calvary Church in Newport News, Virginia. The theme was “Like Christ” and featured AEC’s president, Dr. Marcellus Robinson as the speaker.

The day began with Sabbath School at 10:00 AM followed by worship at 11:00 AM. They then had lunch outdoors and in the fellowship hall. Attendees were asked to bring their own lunch. Later that afternoon at 3:00 PM they engaged in community outreach and concluded with a concert featuring talent from all of the churches in the area.

 VA Area Ministerium leader, Pastor T. DuWayne Privette shared, “It has been a few years since we have met in this capacity. We have endured a pandemic, many protests, many deaths, and we have gone through many changes, but God. The day was a success. That's ONE VIRGINIA! Pastors and members, in ONE accord, serving ONE Lord, as ONE body, with ONE mind, having ONE goal, working together as ONE, sharing the Everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ.
