“The Movement Germantown” Celebrate Diversity with International Day

On January 20th, The Movement Germantown Church made history by joyously commemorating its inaugural International Sabbath Day! According to WalletHub, Germantown, MD, is recognized as the #1 most culturally diverse small city in the entire country, and today, we reveled in that rich diversity.

The worship service was a magnificent tapestry of cultures, with 25 countries represented within the walls of The Movement SDA7 Church. It was a beautiful reflection of our vibrant community, united in faith and diversity.

Pastor Mario Torres delivered a powerful message entitled, "To Every Nation, Kindred, Tongue and People." He shared that God's ultimate sacrifice on the cross transcends all boundaries. Jesus gave it all, inviting us to do the same — to surrender our selfishness and pride. He calls us to join Him on the cross, to give our all. It was a profound call to selfless living and a reminder of the all-encompassing love that God has for each of us.
