Pastor Serves as Mentor to Local School Student

Pastor David Thorpe of our New Life Church in Salisbury Maryland served as a mentor in the local school district's mentor program. One of the elders at New Life currently serves as the principal of West Salisbury Elementary School, and assigned Thorpe as a mentor to first grader Landon Spates. “It has been an enjoyable experience to be able to give back to the community and assist in the development of this young man's life. Although we can't teach about the love of Jesus in the schools, it doesn't stop us from demonstrating His love through our actions” says Thorpe.
