First Millsboro SDA Church -Mother’s Day Tribute

It was an extra special Mother’s day at First Millsboro Church (Millsboro, DE) when Elder Noel Bowman and his eldest son, Hayden, paid a special tribute to their wife and mother, Chelsea.

 They sang a song written by Eld. Bowman for his wife entitled "I Need You." The inspiration behind the song stemmed from a tender moment when he was experimenting with playing the ukulele while his was going through a difficult time with her OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). As he strummed the chords, a melody took shape, and Noel found himself composing lyrics that reflected Chelsea's unwavering faith amidst her darkest moments. The song inadvertently weaves in references to Chelsea's favorite Bible story about the three Hebrew boys, who have been a source of inspiration and resilience for her.

 As the Bowman family shared their musical talents with the congregation, members embraced the special moment of worship and gratitude, recognizing the blessings of unity, support, and the provision of God in their midst.
