First Church Member Authors New Book
Arthur L. Wharton, III, Ph.D, a member of First Church in Washington, DC. recently authored his first book, “Transform Your Mind and Change Your Life: A Guided Journey Toward Living Your Dream Life.”
According to Wharton, “The genesis of the book was a very deep spiritual experience while crafting a sermon that I hoped would help heal a congregational breach at First Church in 2014.”
Wharton is an Accounting professor at Virginia State University.
