Emmanuel Brinklow Hosts 31st L’Elegance Cotillion-Beautillion

The 31st annual L’Elegance Cotillion-Beautillion, sponsored by the Emmanuel Brinklow Church (Ashton, MD), exposes young people to spiritual, civic, educational, cultural, and social experiences. Each participant engages with various workshops to help prepare them for the next step in their journey.  

L’Elegance Cotillion-Beautillion offers programming such as “Mental Health Check Up” educating and showing the importance of mental health and applying its significance to their life, “Love Thy Neighbor” preparing to help serve the various communities in the DMV area, “Money Management 101” encouraging how to properly manage personal funds and how to prepare for the future, “What Fork Is This?” learning proper etiquette skills for formal and informal gatherings  and “What's your Brand?” guiding them to better understand the importance of social media and their personal brand. 

This amazing program also assists each participant  in raising funds for their higher education. The 35 participants encourage their community to support their future by highlighting the importance of their next step in their academic journey. The 2022-2023 L’Elegance Cotillion-Beautillion participants raised collectively over $299,000 dollars. This is an astounding achievement for the Debutantes and Beaus.

The formal event held on April 23,2023  concluded the L’Elegance Cotillion-Beautillion program year celebrating their achievements and presenting each Debutante and Beau to society. This was a beautiful program and event at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in North Bethesda, Maryland. The committee is very proud of the accomplishments of the 2022-2023 Debutantes and Beaus. We pray for their continuous growth mentally, physically, and spiritually.
