Dr. Norman Miles Celebrates Retirement

On Sunday, October, 8th, a retirement celebration was held for Dr. Norman Miles, and his wife, Doris. Dr. Miles, who was a former president of Lake Region Conference, served 17 years in ministry at Allegheny East Conference as the pastor of Trinity Temple Church in Newark, New Jersey. The event was emceed by Dr. Robert Smith and included remarks from G. Alex Bryant (North American Division), Dana Edmond, (Office of Regional Conference Ministries), Dr. Dave Weigley (Columbia Union), Dr. Marcellus Robinson (AEC), Dr. Abraham Henry (Lake Region Conference Secretary), ministry colleagues, first ladies, and mentees, and family. The celebration was coordinated by Dr. Pete Palmer (Miles’ successor) and held at Orange Lawn Tennis Club in South Orange, NJ.
