AEC Welcomes Dr. Renee Humphreys as Associate Superintendent

AEC is pleased to welcome Dr. Renee Humphreys to serve as the new associate superintendent of schools. She fills the vacancy left by Cynthia Poole, who accepted the role of associate director for Early Childhood Education for the Columbia Union.

Dr. Renee Humphreys comes to us from the Chesapeake Conference where she served as associate superintendent. Humphreys has more than 35 years of educational experience, which includes serving as the superintendent of education for the Lake Region Conference from 2014 to 2018. She previously served as the principal/teacher at Ephesus Junior Academy in Richmond, Va.
