AEC Spring Employees Meeting

On March 25-27th, our dedicated team of pastors and office employees convened for a pivotal meeting under the theme, "Essentials of Pastoral Ministry in a Post-COVID Environment."

In keeping with the “te ethnae” portion of our mission statement to spread the gospel “to all people groups,” employs celebrated the diversity that exists within our workforce. Attendees were asked to dress to represent their home country or state as they arrived to “AEC Airlines” for an international experience.

Sessions included topics such as evangelism and leadership, presented by Drs. Gene Donaldson and Emil Peeler; Leadership and Administration, presented by Dr. Carol Cantu and Ron Williams; Contemporary Theology Issues, presented by Dr. Jason A. O’Rourke; and Mental Health & Pastoral Care, presentation by Drs. Anthony Medley and Abdele George.

Attendees also enjoyed daily worship services. Messages were given by Pastor Paul Smith, Pastor Lisa Smith-Reid, and Pastor Moses Njuguna. Special music was given by Adrienne Rhodes, Pastor Orville Brissett, and Pastor Jovan Whyte.

Together, we explored innovative strategies, renewed our commitment to serving our community, and embraced the challenges of a changed world. As we navigate the complexities of a post-pandemic landscape, our shared vision and unwavering dedication to pastoral ministry serve as guiding beacons, illuminating the way toward a future filled with hope, compassion, and resilience.
