One our of members of our Mizpah Church in Philadelphia recently published a children’s book designed to help children with speech impediments.

Book Summary.

After a crazy day at school Kola narrates to his dad how he was chased by a dancing bee! Kola describes his shock and fear after being followed by the dancing bee throughout the school day. Although Kola is initially afraid of the dancing bee, it becomes clear to Kola that the dancing bee just wants a friend. Kola demonstrates empathy and inclusion as he puts aside his fear and befriends the dancing bee. This book is filled with speech and language targets, pre-literacy concepts, and social skills.
