The Emmanuel Worship Center Seventh-day Adventist Church dedicated its 53‘foot retrofitted Food Pantry trailer on Sabbath afternoon, November 4, 2023. The service of dedication also included the consecration of all resources that has bee. obtained since the beginning of the church replant, and to launch the vision of the church to establish a Family, Mental Health, and Spiritual Life Center. This Center of Influence will be temporarily housed in the two-story building on the property until the construction of a more adequate space.

President, Dr. Marcellus Robinson, Community Services Director, Dr. Robert Smith, of AEC, and Ms. Mahadere Getachew, from the Fairfax Health Department, were present. All affirmed, with Pastor Dr. D. Robert Kennedy, and the EWC membership, that the mission and vision of the Church along the Richmond Highway Corridor are on target with the strategic location. The membership, community friends and partners are very excited about the milestone reached and are earnestly praying and working toward having a permanent structure to further advance the work at 8145 Richmond Highway.
